Basic Social Science

What is Basic Social Science?
Based on Wikipedia, social science is the integrated study of the social sciences and humanities to promote civic competence whereas according to Oxford Dictionary social science means the study of human society and social relationship. I have also found some other definitions on the internet, and one of them says that Basic Social Science is a group of academic disciplines that study the aspects related to the human and social environment. So I made my own conclusion about its definition; Basic Social Science is the study of social problems and the way to solve it. We are human being and we never be separated from any social issues. That’s why we have to know the social realities including the issues or the problem and its solution by learn this science.

THE PURPOSES OF BASIC SOCIAL SCIENCE
Just like any other sciences, Basic Social Science has its own purposes : 
1. To expand our mind and personality so we could grow into a better version of ourselves and have broad knowledge. 
2. To comprehend and be aware of the social realities and issues which exist in our society. 
3. To be considerate and responsible about the social issues which are happening and be able to find a way to overcome them. 
4. To understand scientists’ minds better and be able to communicate with them about how to overcome the current issues.

THE BRANCHES OF BASIC SOCIAL SCIENCE
There are 10 branches of Basic Social Science  
1. Anthropology (a study about human beings in general). 
2. Economic (a study about production and wealth distribution in the society). 
3. Geography (a study about spaces and human beings above the earth’s surface). 
4. Law (a study about the established rules). 
5. Linguistic (a study about the cognitive and social aspects of literature). 
6. Education (a study about anything which is related to students, studying, and also character and personality formations). 
7. Politic (a study about governance). 
8. Psychology (a study about behavior and mental process). 
9. History (a study about the past which is connected to the human beings).
